Lapua Super Long Range .22 LR 40gr Ammunition
Lapua Super Long Range .22 LR Ammunition is a premium rimfire cartridge developed specifically for precision shooting at 100 metres and beyond. Designed for demanding disciplines such as Extreme Long Range (ELR), PRS Rimfire, NRL22, rimfire benchrest and Field Target, it delivers the consistency and accuracy required for serious long-range .22 LR competition.
Each cartridge is loaded with a 40-grain / 2.59g projectile and manufactured using Lapua’s precision rimfire production process. Lapua specifically positions Super Long Range as the highest-accuracy option of its Long Range rimfire family, with emphasis on extremely low velocity variation and excellent downrange grouping.
Lapua lists a muzzle velocity of approximately 1,106 fps / 337 m/s, providing a flatter trajectory and improved wind performance compared with slower standard-velocity rimfire loads.
The projectile has a listed G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.172, with calculated muzzle energy of approximately 109 ft-lb / 147 J.
