AVAILABILITY:

Designed as a one-stop-shop brass preparation station, the Brass Boss has six variable speed rotating stations that are easily adjustable to remove chatter and to fit the speed of whatever operation you are performing at the time. Powered via a 120-240V multi-country power supply, the Brass Boss has two high-speed stations running up to 550 RPM and four other stations that turn up to 350 RPM. Each station can be used with an assortment of interchangeable, included tools (see list below) that allows a handloader to personalize their case prep set up.

The Brass Boss is customizable for your operation. Handloaders decrimping thousands of rounds of military surplus 7.62×39 brass will set their stations up differently than a bench rest shooter looking to get ultimate accuracy out of every round. At a minimum, we recommend setting up your brass boss with the deburr and chamfer tools, as well as at least one primer pocket cleaner and case neck brush in the size of cartridge that you are reloading. One common prep process might look like…

  • Primer pocket cleaner – Prep primer pocket, remove any debris
  • Case neck brush – Quick run to remove any brass shavings left over from trimming
  • VLD Deburr – prep interior of case mouth for bullet
  • Chamfer – Smooth outside of case mouth
  • Case neck brush – Final run to remove any interior debris from deburr/chamfer processes

Tools included with Brass Boss

  • VLD chamfer tool – VLD or Very Low Drag tool is engineered at the right angle to properly chamfer the inside of case mouths for modern, high BC, sleek and tall bullets commonly used in match and even hunting applications.
  • Deburring tool – Deburrs the outside of case mouths, removes any small, sharp brass particles that could hang up on a bullet and impact seating consistency and ultimately accuracy
  • Primer pocket cleaner (small & larger) – Easily rotates to clean any sized primer pockets in one step
  • Primer pocket uniformer (small & large) – Makes the interior of the primer pocket consistent, commonly used by match shooters/competitors during brass prep
  • Case neck brushes (four diameters) – Clean out case necks from any dirt or debris prior to case prep process, or for a final clean to remove any brass shavings after case prep processes such as trimming, deburr/chamfering
  • Small & Large Military Crimp Removers – For shooters reloading mil spec surplus brass, automates crimp removal process
